Aoibheann Byrn stood before the altar she had made the pentagram was chalked on the floor and the table she was using for the altar was decorated with the items she would need to cast this spell.
Looking at the paper where her neat handwriting had written down the verse she was supposed to say. She committed it to memory and set it before her on the empty space before the silver bowl carved with a triquerta symbol on it.
Lighting each candle placed at the four corners of the pentagram she said each verse to open the circle of magic. Then she stood in the center and raised her arms up high into the air while she chanted in a beautiful voice of pure silken gold.
"Come forth to thee spirits, I call upon the gods to
grant me thy wishes, and I call upon the spirits
to help make this so.
I wish for my dearest friend to be free of evil
So Mote it be!!"
She repeated this spell three times then clapped her hands. Deeming the spell done she thanked the spirits.
Suddenly fog filled the room, it was dense and cold. She turned as the fog grew thicker and more chilled. Her heart pounded and she became fearful. She heard a sound. It was a chuff and as she turned to face the mirror in her room she heard the sound then. Stepping close to the mirror she furrowed her brows.
Then a hand reached out from behind the glass, and she screamed as she was pulled through the glass of the mirror. It was no longer glass but a portal now and before she knew it she was standing in a cavernous cave with a being that terrified her.
He had the head of a buffalo, his eyes were not molten brown but demon red. He was large and fearsome looking. His leathery wings were shimmering black and gold; his clothing was in the native american style deer hides.
"Ah what a catch I find" he said, his voice gruff and deep; "To think that Vince would send me such a beautiful woman to make me pleased."
Aoibheann blinked; she had been set up. Her friend, or so she thought had actually given her that spell. She glared at the hybrid before her.
"Aha, such spirit; perfect. Now stay still" he said as he approached her with a gold torque.
Aoibheann tried to run. However she could not move, he had solidified his request that she stay still with the power of voice. She bit her lip, as the torque was placed around her throat. She could feel the power of the spell working through the cells of her body. She felt the power of the connection.
"Now you cannot leave this place, you are mine until I see fit to release you.." the demon stated, a smile on his lips. He turned to a small group of what looked like imps.
"Show her to her room, and get her dressed properly." he demanded; "And call the meeting. I wish for all to meet my newest pet."
Aoibheann protested, as she was dragged off to some ante chambers. She was not heeded, and as she was taken into a large room with a four poster bed made of deep red mahogany. Engraved was the mark of the demon. The curtains surround it was sheer lace, so sheer you could see through. She was stripped of her jeans and t-shirt by the little beasts that served their master. One approached with a gothic gown of navy blue & gold. She shook her head but the creature bared his fangs; and spoke in a childish voice.
"The master wishes it, and you cannot deny his wishes" the imp said; and then she felt the burn of the torque.
Aoibheann cried out as it got blazing hot; until she grabbed the dress and put it on. It cooled instantly but her neck could still feel the affects.
The imps twittered, as they pulled her out of the room to the main room where the demon sat upon his throne.
It was made of obisdian stone with two massive dragon red wings protruding from the back rest in a wide arc. The arm rests at the front had two shimmering opals and the cushions were of blood red felt. The back of the throne was wide enough to fit the demon and look menacing. A black & green dragon head sat at the top of the back looking down with sapphire gems for the eyes.
The hall was crowded with demons, imps and other beings as Aoibheann was led to the dais. Upon seeing her Va'hm stood and waited. The moment she stood beside him he waved for silence.
"Today is a wonderful day, for I have gained my newest pet. Behold" he said and gestured to Aoibheann.
There was a tremendous roar as the other demons who resembled the one she stood by let out their joy in the announcement.
"What is your name my pet?" the demon asked.
Aoibheann shook her head, but when he asked again her mouth responded despite her struggle not to. "Aoibheann"
"A pretty name pet. Aoibheann will be treated well. I pray." he said with a warning tone.
There were grunts and chuffs that were probably to be taken as a yes.
"Then let the celebration begin" Va'hm stated, and sat upon his throne pulling Aoibheann into his lap. While the music played and his people danced and chanted.
Aoibheann sat tensely, as an imp appeared with two goblets of gold and glass with some clear liquid.
"Take one my pet, it is only wine" Va''hm stated, as he took one and sipped it; "Or would you prefer to sip from mine?"
Aoibheann quickly grabbed the second goblet and took a heavy dose of the drink. It shot down her throat and warmed her from the inside out. She grew relaxed and a little dazed... it was a potent wine. Much stronger than any spirits she had had before.
Va'ham smiled softly as he nuzzled the soft woman on his lap, she smelled sweet and she had fire inside her which was sexier than when he had a willing woman in his bed.
